Why Does GOD Allow Suffering?

Image
This is often the most asked question by non-believers and sometimes, believers going through challenges: why does GOD allow suffering? Why can't HE intervene in the current state of this world?  Why does GOD allow the wicked to persist in evil? People ask these questions with a hope of getting an answer that would convict GOD of negligence; for allowing His Creation experience pain and tragedy. Many cannot comprehend that a loving and powerful Creator, would let specters like war, famine, diseases and suffering to persist on Earth. It seems unfathomable that not only has GOD let these distresses happen; He does nothing to fix it. And if you have a moment to listen; they will relay how these have affected them personally; a nd as a result, they have lost faith in GOD. And that's usually where the argument ends. But this is not the whole story! From a Biblical account: GOD created a perfect world! And the Bible declared this in Genesis 1:31 "GOD saw everything that H...

Developing Growth Mindset: Unlock Your Potential

Image
How the Right Attitude Can Change Everything!  Have you noticed how some people dive into challenges while others steer clear? Often, the difference comes down to mindset. A growth mindset, as described by psychologist Carol Dweck, is simply believing your skills and intelligence can improve with effort and persistence. Instead of seeing setbacks as failures, you start to see them as chances to learn. What Does “Growth Mindset” Mean? It’s all about thinking that talent isn’t fixed. Rather than saying “I’m not good at this,” someone with a growth mindset thinks, “I’m not good at this—yet.” That small change encourages you to keep going when things get tough, to be resilient, and to keep learning, no matter where you started. Why Is Having a Growth Mindset Useful? Studies show that people who adopt a growth mindset tend to reach higher, bounce back from setbacks, and feel more satisfied. If you focus on the effort and the learning, not just the outcome, you’re more ope...

Turning Setbacks into Stepping-stones

How Embracing Failure Fuels Personal Growth and Success.  Failure is something every one of us encounters at some stage, whether it’s missing out on a new job, dropping the ball at work, or simply not reaching a personal goal. In Australian culture, there’s often a fondness for the underdog—those who get knocked down but bounce back stronger. Rather than seeing failure as the end of the road, it’s worth recognising it as a valuable part of the journey. The key to overcoming failure lies not in trying to avoid it, but in how we respond when things go pear-shaped. It’s natural to feel disappointed, but taking the time to reflect on what went wrong can reveal important lessons. Did you rush your prep? Was there a communication breakdown? Honest self-assessment helps pinpoint what can be done differently next time. Learning from mistakes isn’t just about avoiding repeat blunders. It’s also about developing resilience—the mental muscle that helps us keep going when the chips are...

Be At Ease: GOD Has Got You Covered!

I would like to share my thoughts on letting HEAVENLY FATHER take care of you! In today's world, where we are bombarded with “don’t stop, don’t quit mentality", it can be hard to take a rest, reset, or break from daily life pursuits. Because we've been programed to think we should always be strong, and ready to go at all times. Mind you: don't-quit-don't-give-up" isn’t necessarily bad! As there’s nothing wrong with striving for a better outcome in life. It's the way we go about it; that can have either a positive or a negative impact on us: hence this blog. But as believers in the Lord JESUS CHRIST, our Scripture told us in Philippians 4:6, to be content with whatever we have, and to ask GOD for our desires in humility with thanksgiving. This is because, whatever we need to accomplish any purpose in life, HEAVENLY FATHER has already provided it. How do I know this?   The answer is found in Mathew 6: 30-33! The Lord JESUS told us not to lust after...
