Amaka: Amaka is an aspiring author from Queensland, Australia. Her writing journey began a few years after she arrived in Australia: mainly as a daily journal to record her observations and experiences. She didn’t think much of it then. But after her auntie (who lives in Germany) published a faith-based motivational book and shared the news with her; Amaka thought to do the same with her journal; which at that point had turned therapeutic. Her aim was to unapologetically share her experiences and struggles (in her new country) as a message of hope to new migrants. She completed that manuscript, but nothing came of it. Although, that process ignited a passion she never knew was inside-writing. Before she discovered her passion for writing, she had a career in the fashion industry. As a fashion enthusiast, Amaka obtained a diploma in garment making and styling, in her country of birth. Where she later managed a boutique; selling custom-made apparels, and fashion accessories, before migrating to Australia. Though she enjoys writing (whether blog or a book,) she hopes to someday launch a label for women and girls. Follow Amaka on X - @AmaLive
